Using Photos From the Internet

Sometimes you need images (photos) for your research.

The easiest place to find photos is the internet.

But when you download a photo from the internet, you have to get permission from the person who created the photo.

If you don't ask for permission, you are STEALING!

Some websites on the internet have already asked photographers for permission to use their photos. These are photos are called royalty free images.

This means if you use those websites to download your photos, you are not stealing.

The three websites that are on this LibGuide have all given permission for you to use the photos.

Happy searching!
